This Privacy Policy describes how LoadMath ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the LoadMath iOS application, developed and operated by [DEVELOPER_NAME].
The short version: LoadMath does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Everything you enter into the App — your costs, your loads, your scanned documents — stays on your iPhone or iPad. We don't have a server. We don't have your data. We never will.
The longer version follows.
We collect no personal information through the App. We have no user accounts, no sign-up, no login, and no backend server.
Everything you enter into LoadMath — including your cost settings, calculated loads, saved load history, scanned documents, notes, and any other data you create inside the App — is stored only on your device, in the App's private storage area. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party.
The App asks for the following iOS permissions. Each is used for a single, in-app purpose, with no data leaving your device.
Camera. When you tap "Scan Document" inside a load, iOS will ask for permission to use the camera. The camera is used only to scan paper documents (bills of lading, proofs of delivery, rate confirmations, receipts) which are saved as PDFs in the App's private storage on your device. Camera frames are never uploaded.
Photo library. When you tap "Add POD Photo" inside a load, iOS will ask for permission to read a photo you select from your library. The selected photo is saved as part of that load on your device only. We never access photos you did not explicitly pick.
You can revoke either permission at any time in iOS Settings → LoadMath.
If you choose to purchase a LoadMath Premium subscription or one-time unlock, that purchase is processed by Apple, through the App Store. Apple — not LoadMath — handles your payment, including any credit card or Apple Pay information. We never see, access, or store your payment details.
The App receives only an anonymous receipt from Apple confirming that the purchase is active. That receipt does not contain your name, email, card information, or any other personally identifying detail. The receipt is used solely to unlock Premium features on your device.
For information on how Apple handles purchase data, see Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
LoadMath contains:
No third-party analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Apple Analytics opt-in, no Crashlytics).
No advertising SDKs.
No tracking pixels, cookies, or web beacons.
No cross-app or cross-website tracking.
No "anonymous identifiers" sold or shared with marketing partners.
The App's App Privacy nutrition label in the App Store reflects this: Data Not Collected.
All data you create in LoadMath — costs, loads, scanned documents, settings — lives in the App's private container on your iPhone or iPad. iOS isolates this container so other apps cannot read it.
If you back up your device to iCloud or to your computer, LoadMath's data is included in that backup — but the backup is yours, not ours. We do not run any cloud service and cannot access your backups.
If you delete the App, iOS deletes all of LoadMath's data with it. There is no remote copy.
If you switch devices and restore from a backup, your LoadMath data is restored on the new device.
We do not sell, rent, trade, share, or disclose any user information to any third party, because we do not collect any user information. There are no advertising networks, data brokers, analytics partners, or marketing affiliates involved with LoadMath.
The only parties that may receive information related to your use of LoadMath are:
Apple, when you make an in-app purchase, as described in Section 3.
Apple, when iOS sends crash logs you may have opted into sharing through your device-level Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. These reports are anonymous and go to Apple, not to us.
LoadMath is intended for use by professional truck drivers and small fleet operators — adults running a business. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the App does not collect data from anyone, this protection is structural, not just policy.
Because LoadMath does not collect your personal data, most data-rights laws (GDPR, CCPA, and similar) don't have data on our side to apply to. You retain full control of your own data because it lives on your device.
Specifically, you can:
Access your data at any time through the App itself.
Delete your data at any time by deleting individual loads in the app, or by uninstalling LoadMath.
Export your data at any time using the PDF Report and CSV Spreadsheet features in the Logbook (Premium).
If you live in a region where you have additional statutory rights (for example, the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority under GDPR), you may exercise those rights — but in practice, since we hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete.
We retain no data about you, so there is nothing on our side to retain. Data you enter into LoadMath is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Because all data is local to your device, the security of your LoadMath data depends on the security of your iPhone or iPad. We recommend:
Using a passcode and Face ID / Touch ID on your device.
Keeping iOS up to date.
Backing up your device.
iOS encrypts the App's private storage by default when your device is locked.
LoadMath can be used anywhere the iOS App Store operates. Because LoadMath does not collect or transfer data, there are no international data transfers to disclose.
If we ever change this Privacy Policy — for example, if a future version of LoadMath adds a feature that does collect data (such as optional cloud sync) — we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date and clearly describe what changed. Any meaningful change will also be communicated within the App before taking effect. Continuing to use the App after a change indicates that you accept the revised Policy.
