LoadMath asks for the costs every owner-operator actually has — truck insurance, trailer insurance, truck and trailer payments, dispatch fee (flat or percentage), ELD subscription, load board subscription, accounting, phone and internet, parking, and any custom recurring cost you add. Estimated monthly miles converts those into your true fixed cost per mile.
On the variable side, it asks for fuel price per gallon, truck MPG, and per-mile reserves for DEF, maintenance, tires, and repairs. Together those produce your variable cost per mile. The sum is what every load needs to clear to be profitable.
For each load you're offered, type three numbers: rate, paid miles, and deadhead. LoadMath returns:
Net profit — what you actually keep after every cost
Profit per mile
Rate per loaded mile — what the broker is paying for the freight
All-in rate per mile — what they're paying once you count the empty miles to pickup
Break-even RPM — the rate per mile below which this load loses money
Daily profit — net profit divided by your estimated days to deliver
Tax set-aside — how much of the profit to put aside for quarterly taxes
If the load is profitable, save it to the logbook. If it isn't, you have a clean number to negotiate with.
Every saved load lives in a logbook you can browse by day, week, month, or year. Each view shows totals: loads, net profit, miles driven, fuel cost. Tap any load to see the full breakdown. Swipe to delete.
Set weekly profit targets, weekly miles targets, and monthly profit targets. The dashboard shows live progress so you know mid-week whether you need to push harder or whether you're already on track.
Scan freight paperwork right in the app — Bills of Lading, Proofs of Delivery, rate confirmations, lumper receipts, fuel receipts, repair invoices. The scanner is the same multi-page, edge-detecting, deskewing scanner used by Apple Notes — built into iOS, on-device. No third-party uploads.
Each scan is attached to the load it belongs to. When a broker asks for paperwork, one tap combines every document on that load into a single PDF and opens the iOS share sheet — email it, message it, AirDrop it, save it to Files.
Generate a clean profit-and-loss report for any period — last week, last month, year-to-date, all loads. The report includes per-load detail, totals (revenue, cost, net, miles, fuel, tax), and is formatted for a CPA, factoring company, or lender.
Export your full load history as a comma-separated file. Open it in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. Hand it to a bookkeeper.
LoadMath is fully translated into English, Español, Türkçe, and Русский. Switch in Settings — the entire interface, including labels and error messages, updates immediately.
