What follows on this page is a fairly general version of my curriculum vitae, including both philosophy and library work (although, to be honest, it's really more of a library CV at the moment). For my teaching and librarianship statements, samples of my writing, and syllabi, check out my Portfolio. In philosophy, my areas of specialization lie in the realm of aesthetics (esp. the philosophy of music) and ethics (applied, mostly); I am competent to teach the usual range of introductory courses, basic histories, applied ethics, and logic/critical thinking, as well as courses in the philosophy of religion, world religions, and gender and women's studies. As a librarian, I am most interested in scholarly communication, reference, and instruction (information literacy). I do have some tech skills/interests (HTML/CSS, XML, PHP/MySQL) and coursework in Digital Asset Management and Digital Libraries. I am also currently planning to complete a post-masters certificate in Digital Archives and Records Management, and am working as a project archivist for the BVU Archives.
