After numerous requests to enable the activation/deactivation of captions on the viewer-side we are excited to say this is now available.
Thanks to the hard work of some amazing programmers Twitch broadcasters now have extensions available to them to use for captioning!

Add closed captions to stream for your viewers to see. Streamers can chose between a panel and video overlay. Viewers can enable OpenDyslexic font and increase or decrease the size of the text through the top-right menu. Text automatically delayed to sync with stream.

This Extension is the Viewer End for closed captions on your stream. On the Viewer end its possible to change the background color, active voice color, and inactive voice color. To offset the fact that the video will be slower than the captions viewers also have a delay setting to adjust this.
