Captioning your Livestream

Add Headings and they will appear in your table of contents.

Many Deaf and Hard of Hearing people are unable to enjoy content on platforms such as Twitch or Mixer due to the lack of accessibility features like Open Captions or Closed Captions. With many advances in technology, AI, and Machine Learning, enabling captioning for all broadcasters should be a simple process however it is still something that viewers are waiting on from the major platforms.

Enter Webcaptioner. Webcaptioner is currently the only free platform for content creators to generate captions on their livestream broadcasts. Using only a web browser, streamers can implement relatively accurate captions on their streams for Deaf and Hard of Hearing viewers to enjoy their content. While it does not enable captioning of games, it is currently the only method for Deaf and Hard of Hearing viewers to interact with content creators on platforms like Twitch and Mixer.
