Rider Tipping

Customers are able to tip riders on the Checkout screen, for all Talabat Go deliveries. 

Notes:

• Feature is available in UAE, Oman, Jordan, KSA \, Qatar & Egypt.

• 100% of all digital tips go to the rider. 

• If the order got cancelled for any reason, the customer will get the original order and tip refunded upon cancellation

• If the customer requested to cancel the tipping, we will:

  • • Live Chat & GHC >> Send a Salesforce case to Refund & Validation to compensate the customer with the tipping amount.

    • Customer Care Email >> Live Chat & GHC >> Send a Salesforce case to SME to compensate the customer with the tipping amount.

• Once the customers used the tipping feature, The tipping will be deducted automatically with every order they place, if the customer asked to remove the tipping we will use the below script:

If you do not wish to tip, you can easily opt-out on the check-out page with the below steps:

• Place your order.

• At the checkout page, you will be able to see the Reward your Rider with a Tip section

• From the Reward your Rider with a Tip section, you will be able to see the "Clear Tip" button, which will remove the tip from your order.
