A seminar size group discussion in session.
Started in 2010 for the real enthusiasts, this supplemental meeting of 10-20 die-hards is held to discuss a pre-selected topic in great detail, with the group discussion led by a volunteer facilitator. It is not a presentation but rather a chance for all participants to contribute to a moderated but otherwise informal discussion. The format encourages the widest possible participation. The topic is typically determined at least a month in advance and those attending are asked to do some homework in preparation for the discussion. Although this preparation is not a requirement it gives attendees something topic-related to share with everyone and enough background to appreciate the discussion. To our knowledge, we are the only organization that conducts two separate monthly roundtables, each different in its own way.
The Little CW Roundtable currently meets Thursday nights (the fourth Thursday of each month ) at the Huntsville Elks Club.
