Litish 101 is no longer updated, please refer to the High Litish page on the kingdom website!
Lithiumians aren't particularly formal, but formalities are different. They are polite. Here is the definitive apology collection.
APOLOGIES
The prefix for apology is generally sok-. (excluding the formal leminot, leminote)
Here's some vocabulary.
Sok-ien/ A gesticulation made when apologising/ sohk-eeh-uhn
*Note: these are customised
Sok-rado/ To be inclined to say sorry (verb), a forced apology (noun)/ sohk-rah-doe
Sokrinoi/ Sorry/ Sohk-rihn-oy (More informal then leminot, leminote)
Now we have 'The' sorry's. To be more specific, Litish uses their renowned 24 The's to classify what they are apologising for. Here is an example, using the generalised 'The', ly. Please note that saying sorry like this always uses the plural form.
Sokrinoi'ly/ Sorry for anything classified under Lu or Ly/ Sohk-rihn-oy'lie
Lithiumians also like saying hi, and we've covered a few ways to say hi, Saluttions, Savle, Valon and Galto. However, we have some more.
