Point: Make a point about your writing / your feelings about writing:
I don’t like writing essays, especially in exams.
Example: Provide a real-world example relating to your point
In English I find it frustrating to write responses to texts using formal language and structures, as I feel that this limits what I can say.
Elaboration: Add further details.
The elaboration can (and often should) be more than one sentence.
I have a lot of ideas, but I can’t write quickly enough to get them all down in exams or in-class assessment tasks, especially when I have to use an academic style. Running out of time is really frustrating
Link: Go back to the point. Be reflective.
While I don’t like writing essays, I know I should practice, and use any feedback I receive to improve my skills.
