Artifacts 1. Lit Review Social and Personality Dev. Child.Adol.docx
Course: Psy 319 - Social Development: Child and Adolescent
For my research on the social and personality development of young individuals, I conducted an extensive literature review. I analyzed theoretical and empirical research literature to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge. Through this synthesis, I was able to identify key trends and implications for intervention and policy. My literature review demonstrated my ability to make connections between different theoretical perspectives and research findings, and showcases my potential in the psychology field.
Artifacts 2. Case Study Barbara B Psychological Report.docx
Completing this artifact was essential for me to demonstrate my proficiency in the psychology field. It required me to read, analyze, interpret, and suggest a plan of care based on a client's psychological report. This was no easy feat, but I rose to the challenge. After extensively reading the report, I was able to pick out essential information about the client's mental health history, current state, and potential future needs. I used this information to interpret the client's situation and suggest a plan of care that was tailored to their individual needs. My plan of care considered the client's preferences, lifestyle, and goals. Ultimately, I was able to successfully craft a plan of care that addressed the client's current and future mental health needs. This exercise demonstrated my ability to read, analyze, interpret, and suggest a plan of care based on a client's psychological report. It has also provided me with the essential capabilities needed to be proficient in the psychology field.

Artifact 4:
PSY 375- Cognition
In today's world, emotional intelligence is vital when it comes to cognition. By applying emotional intelligence to our thinking, we can better understand how it differs for each individual. These artifacts represent my understanding of cognitive psychology in relation to this course.
I believe the attention training concepts for children with ADHD and the ethical considerations we discussed are relevant to the programmatic theme of ethics.
Furthermore, the impact of search engines on our cognition that was discussed in Project Two relates to the programmatic theme of emotional intelligence. Learning how to memorize information is important instead of relying solely on search engines. During our discussions, I learned that training one's attention can be a useful approach to treating ADHD in children. Additionally, we discussed how our overreliance on search engines can have negative effects on our cognitive abilities. We also emphasized the importance of conducting ethical research when dealing with vulnerable populations, respecting the rights of research participants, and being aware of any cultural biases that may exist.
