I will typically grade & return assignments within 7 days of the due date. If this changes due to unusual circumstances, I’ll communicate that as needed.

4 Discussion Posts: 45% of total grade
1 Final Paper: 10% of total grade
2 Projects: 45% of total grade

I like the 0-4 scale because it gives the same weight to each possible grade. In a traditional 0-100 scale, almost 70% of the scale is reserved for grades that are less than passing.
Because I’m more concerned with you showing me your growing mastery of the skills we practice, I use a scale that more directly communicates your improvement.
