Quantum physics is an exciting branch of science due to the diverse and challenging topics that it offers, covering both some of the most important physical phenomena that we experience in our everyday lives and new technological advances.

Specializing in quantum condensed matter theory will give you a unique competency where you combine advanced physics knowledge with the ability to solve problems analytically and numerically.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated and ambitious students with good grades. Several of the previous master students in our group have published their work in top international peer-reviewed journals of physics.

It is preferable that you have a background with quantum mechanics courses and some experience with numerical programming.
