Exhibit 1

Background: I created a ring company at the beginning of this year called lill.rings. I wanted to create a memory in the form of a digital polaroid to remember the beginning stages of lill.rings.

Contrast: There is some orange from the terra-cotta holder to incorporate complimentary colors throughout the feed. I did not want the font to be too loud so I chose to use a monochromatic green theme.

Alignment: The text is center aligned to replicate how you would write the date on a polaroid picture.

Repetition: I decided to keep the plant theme consistent through the use of the color green throughout the text.

Proximity: Using the spacing of the instagram feed, I kept the text at the bottom uniform to one another in order to not distract from the image above.

Font: Photoshop fonts include Impact and Georgia.

Photoshop Skills Used: I used an adjustment layer to turn the image black and white. Then, created a mask in that layer using the gradient tool.
