Church Membership
Committing to a church community can play an important role in an individual's Christian life. Formal, public commitment can be made to the United Reformed Church an individual attends ...
Introduction
The United Reformed Church ("URC") encourages regular attendees to consider church membership when they start to think of a particular place of worship as ‘their church’.
Church members commit to supporting the church through giving, action, and by taking part in the Church Meeting [see "The United Reformed Church" for more information], as well as through regular attendance at worship.
If you would like to know more about becoming a member, please speak to our minister or one of our Elders – they will be delighted to answer any questions [Contact Us].
Responsibilities
Members are encouraged to share in the life of the local church. Most do this by participating in weekly worship, attending Church Meetings, contributing financially to the work of the church, and taking part in its activities.
If you feel you might want to become a member of a local church, and would like to know more, have a word with our minister or one of our Elders, who will be only too happy to advise you and guide you through the process.
