CHEMARTS is a long-term strategic collaboration between two schools at Aalto University, the School of Chemical Engineering (CHEM) and the School of Arts, Design and Architecture (ARTS). CHEMARTS encourages explorative and playful approach to early-stage materials research. It is a pre-innovation activity where the experimentation process and even failures play a significant role. University courses, local and international exhibitions alongside award-winning books are all stemming from CHEMARTS' key principles: working together and sharing knowledge.
