In this class, students will undertake the study of World History from ancient civilizations through near-modern time. Class will be lecture style and will include PowerPoints and note-taking.
Homework will include reading assignments from the textbook, answering lesson review questions, watching videos related to the week's course content, and occasionally completing a writing assignment.
Tests will be given about every two weeks. These are in-class, closed-book tests.
World History is an intense study that covers a great deal of information. Students should plan to complete between four and five hours of homework each week.

BJU World History Student Text 4th Edition
Please note: This is not the most current edition of this textbook. However, the most current edition takes out much of the information about ancient Rome and other important pieces of world history that are critically linked to today's history. That is why I am choosing to use the older edition.
Because this textbook is the older edition, it is harder to find. I have several copies available for purchase or to loan out to students. If you are having difficulty finding a copy of the text, please reach out to Mrs. Beckstrom as soon as possible.
Students only need the textbook, not the Student Activity book.
