There is Strength in Numbers
Ants have a complex social structure.
With over 12,000 species populating the world, they live in large colonies which can consist of millions of ants.
The queen is the mother of the colony and is the only ant that can lay eggs.
Female workers take care of the young, build the anthills,
and gather food with the ability to lift 20 times its own body weight.
The drones’ purpose is to mate with future queens while soldier ants defend against enemies.
As a colony, ants work collectively solving complex problems like finding food and ideal nesting sites.
What you can learn from these amazing insects is that you will accomplish
much more if you can work well with others.
This starts by being a contributing member of your own family,
taking on some of the household responsibilities, and looking out for one another.
In society, it means working effectively and collaboratively with peers and coworkers.
There is more physical and intellectual power when functioning as a group than as an individual.
Know that when you make more of an effort to be a part of the community around you,
you will increase your knowledge and your strength. (S. Finelli)
