Quail

Quails are small plump birds with plumes on their heads that bob as they walk.

They cannot endure long flights but instead spend most of their time

on the ground digging for food.

Quails travel in flocks called coveys.  They’ll huddle together in cold temperatures to stay warm.

Quails will also assemble in a circle with beaks facing outward as a means of defense.

The quail’s message is one of protection.

There is safety in numbers, so remember the buddy system when venturing out into the unknown.

Be mindful of people and places that may cause you concern.

Trust your instincts to guide you on the best way to react in any situation.  (S. Finelli)
