Bumper Cars

As if the lines don’t have us bumping into each other enough, the park has this ride with intention.

One to one, the rubber rims come head to bumper.

Sparks fly from lines overhead as one collision meets another. This is a ride of competition.

How competitive are you? What would you do to get ahead or to get to the front of the line?

Life is full of competition.

We strive to be the best student, the best athlete, and to land the best jobs in the marketplace.

While competition is a great motivator, it can also keep us focused

more on what others are doing than what we ourselves can do.

Sometimes it really is enough just to do your best. You don’t always have to be the shining star.

Much satisfaction can come from helping someone else succeed. Be a team player in life!

Take your ego out of situations that cause you to butt heads with those around you.
