Boat Ride

There is a soft breeze that kicks up along the shoreline. A beautiful lake with subtle waves laps the sand.

All feels calm and safe. The water will entice you to leave the land and board the boat for a tranquil cruise.

Or so you think. This is a ride of uncertainty.

On a good day, with sunny skies and peaceful tides, you will enjoy floating this excursion.

There is no other ride quite like it.

But leaving the land has its risks. It would be smart to be aware of the life preservers early on.

The lake runs deep. Check the skies before you sail as well.

Turbulent weather can send the waters into mayhem.

Sometimes, in life, we encounter situations that are like this.

We start out trusting that all will be smooth sailing, but then find that things can take an unexpected turn.

Stay alert! Hang in there in times of uncertainty. Listen to your instincts!

No matter what boat you may find yourself on, you are ultimately the one in control.
