Empowering Girls

In December of 2024, I had the chance to give my Women in STEM presentation to the fourth graders at my school. It covered different fields within STEM, my favorite projects in the modern world of STEM, the history of women in STEM, and influential female figures. After discussing the challenges women have faced and the lack of female representation in STEM (especially computer science), I showed the girls some of the games I’ve coded using basic computer science skills.

The girls were really excited to play four of my games: Tic Tac Toe, Miracles Around the World, Women in STEM, and Barbie History. It was rewarding to see their excitement, and I realized how meaningful these experiences can be for younger girls.
