Duties

Throughout the year, members of the Royal Family carry out a variety of official engagements, throughout the country and worldwide. In doing so, they are representing the sovereign.

The Royal Family also supports several non-profit organizations, charities, and foundations. Some members may even create their own non-profit to benefit the citizens of this nation.

Another important duty is presenting honors during investitures. Although these honors are usually presented by the sovereign himself, members of the Royal Family may attend these events, or present the honors if the sovereign is not able to do so.

When a member of the Royal Family grows old, they may request to retire from official duties.
