My learning experience

In a peaceful little village, there lived a Chinese teacher named Li, who was full of poetic charm. She was a literature enthusiast who loved teaching and spent her days teaching Chinese language classes in a primary school. When I was in fifth grade , I entered her classroom, hoping that she could teach me how to write a poetic and imaginative story.
I stepped into teacher's warm classroom, greeted by Chinese ancient literati's calligraphy and paintings hanging on the walls, as well as a row of neatly arranged books. She smiled and said, "Welcome to my classroom! What are your expectations regarding writing poetry?"I replied, " I want to learn how to infuse poetic elements into my stories, so that readers can feel the beauty and emotions within."She nodded and continued, "Firstly, writing a good poetic story requires a clear theme. This theme can revolve around love, nature, friendship, or life philosophy. It will serve as the core of your story, running through it from beginning to end."After contemplating for a moment, I told her that I wanted to write a poetic story about friendship and courage. Encouragingly, She said, "Excellent! Friendship and courage are two wonderful themes. We can start from here."Next, She told me, "Before we start writing, we need to cultivate a sensitive perception. Observe the small details in life, savor the beauty of nature, and experience the warmth of human relationships. These experiences will become the source of inspiration for your poetic story."
I began following teacher guidance, observing things around me every day. I discovered the blooming flowers, the flowing streams, the friendships among children, and the courage people displayed in the face of adversity. I recorded these beautiful experiences and started envisioning my story in my mind.
She taught me, "The language of a poetic story should be filled with rhythm and imagery. Use impactful words and literary devices to allow readers to feel the beauty of the story as they read."
Thus, I began contemplating how to employ poetic language to express my story. I utilized vivid metaphors, rhyming sentences, and a smooth sentence rhythm. I interspersed the narrative with scenes of blooming friendship and brave adventures and rescues.
After completing the initial draft of my story, I sought advice from her. She patiently read my work and provided valuable feedback. She pointed out the highlights of my writing and areas for improvement. She encouraged me to persevere and believed that I could write a touching and melodious poetic story.Under teacher's guidance, I continually revised and refined my story. Each revision made the story more concise, beautiful, and capable of conveying the power of friendship and courage.
Finally, I completed a poetic and enchanting story. She smiled, saying, "Your story is so captivating, it envelops readers in its beauty. You have successfully infused poetry into your work. Keep up with your writing, and you will create more touching poetic stories."
Through teacher's guidance and encouragement, I learned how to write a poetic story. I realized that poetry and stories are not isolated entities; they can intertwine and create unique literary charm. I am grateful for Li's teaching, as she not only taught me writing skills but also taught me how to deeply appreciate the beauty of life.
