Additional Credit Options and Credit Retrieval

ISD Summer School Courses

Students may attend summer school courses provided through ISD.

Online Learning

Students are eligible to take up to 4 credits outside of Liberty High school and have them placed on their official high school transcript. Students may not take more than 2 credits online per school year, and no more than half of the required credit in any subject area will be approved. Bellevue College Summer Courses

This is an option for students who will be 16 years old by the first day of summer quarter at Bellevue College. Make sure to begin the process online through Bellevue college and then make an appointment with your School Counselor prior to registering for a course.

Credit for Outside Learning Experiences in PE or Fine Art

Students may pursue outside PE or FA activities for approved credit. Application/approval required, up to 0.5 max credit. Please fill out the application available from your Counselor if you would like to take advantage of this option. These hours must be pre-approved and cannot be counted retroactively.

Credit Retrieval

Credit retrieval classes in English, History, and Math are offered for students who have failed a course needed to meet graduation requirements. This option only provides the student the ability to retrieve credit, not to replace a grade. Check with your Counselor about Credit Retrieval options.
