Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program

The Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program is a financial assistance initiative for all barangays nationwide, which aims to equip local leaders with the necessary resources to address the immediate needs of families and communities, as well as frontline service delivery challenges. The Program also includes a "Finisher Fund" intended to help address college student attrition and support vulnerable graduating students in completing their education.

Verified complaint against any erring officials in line with the implementation of the programs may also be filed before the Sanggunian concerned pursuant to Section 61 of the Local Government Code or the Office of the Ombudsman for filing of appropriate administrative case.

Locally Funded Projects

Locally-Funded Projects (LFPs) are key programs from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) that aim to improve basic services in all local areas. The fund for these projects comes from the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF)—a special allocation from the national government's budget. Instead of a national office doing the work, the department give the funds directly to your local government (province, city, municipality, or barangay). This allows local officials to immediately build or fix facilities that their community needs most. The DILG is in charge of setting the rules for how the fund must be spent and then closely monitoring the projects. This ensures all funds are used wisely and efficiently to create essential facilities like local roads, water systems, health centers, and disaster equipment, promoting honest and speedy development where you live.
