Enhance natural ecosystems
Restore and maintain the natural habitats and functions in the river corridor; Restore and enhance connectivity for natural systems functions and compatible human uses
Monitor and support management of the river to ensure long-term ecological health
Identify viable water sources of adequate quantity and quality
Improve water quality
Secure dedicated/permanent water sources to advance priority restoration and recreation efforts
Strengthen community connections to the Lower Gila River
Foster learning among partners, organizations, and the public about the river system
Enhance opportunities for nature-based recreation and economic development
Preserve cultural heritage values
