Dr. Atkinson attended undergraduate school at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville from 2011 to 2013. There she completed pre-requisite pharmacy courses before attending pharmacy school. She attended pharmacy school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy in Little Rock, Arkansas and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy in May 2017. Dr. Atkinson is currently completing a Pharmacy Practice PGY-1 residency at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock, AR. After completing residency, she hopes to continue working with the geriatric population and pursuing her interests in infectious disease, acute care, and internal medicine. In her free time, Dr. Atkinson enjoys being outdoors, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
