Welcome to my teaching portfolio website! I hope that in navigating this website you will see the wide variety of teaching experiences I have participated in this year. I can't wait for you to see how I have grown in my confidence in teaching, as well as expanded my creativity and stepped outside of my comfort zone. I have expanded my creativity by creating multiple handouts for presentations and supplemental materials for students. I have stepped outside of my comfort zone by providing constructive feedback and presenting to large groups. I plan to use what I have learned this year through the Teaching Certificate Program as I further my career as a pharmacist. For example, I hope to work with the geriatric population in my career and believe that my teaching skills will be of good use when performing medication counseling, etc. I also hope to one day be a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents and to teach medical students while on rounds. This program has given me the tools to fully incorporate teaching in my future pharmacy practice!
