After breakfast, we went to visit the "Meteore", but, because of the weather conditions, we had to admire them from... the bottom!

"cit. La Meteora letteralmente "in mezzo all'aria" dal greco μετά, metá, "in mezzo a" e ἀείρω, aeírō, aria, "sospeso in aria" o "in alto nei cieli") ubicata nel nord della Grecia, nei pressi della cittadina di Kalambaka. Si tratta di un importante centro della chiesa ortodossa, secondo per importanza solo al monte Athos, dichiarata patrimonio dell'umanità dall'UNESCO nel 1988. Si trovano ventiquattro monasteri edificati con enormi sacrifici in cima a spettacolari falesie di arenaria, e, attualmente solo sei sono ancora abitati, in parte recuperati dopo anni di abbandono. "

Coming back to the hotel our attention was attracted by the symbol of a bike, everywhere in the city. We learned that's because Karditsa is considered one of the cities with most cycle paths. According to the National Technical University of Athens, about 30% of public transports are bikes.
