• What do they do?

  • Filter hazards out of the air (allergens, smoke, mould, viruses)

• Where do I place them?

  • As close as possible to the centre of the room

  • Away from walls, corners, open windows, supply vents

  • Away from obstructions like under a table/desk

  • Avoid blowing directly on someone

  • If you have multiple portable air cleaners space them out

• What types are there?

  • Commercial store bought (often referred to as HEPA filters)

    • Avoid features like ionization, plasma, UV

    • Use ON setting instead of AUTO
