• Where do I place it?

  • • Place at height of students heads (around 1.5 meters)

    • Do not place near people, windows, doors or air vents

• What do the readings tell me?

  • how much air is being re-breathed

  • steady state CO2 levels can be used to determine if the ventilation meets current standards

• What do I do if the readings are too high?

  • CDC target for good ventilation is CO2 readings below 800 ppm

  • ensure the thermostat fan is ON

  • ensure air is coming out of the supply vent

  • if there is no air movement from the supply vents submit a maintenance request

  • open your classroom doors and windows to air out the room

  • take your class outside to air out the room
