My role as Project Manager kept two teams coordinated and on schedule with their assigned tasks as I would guide fellow students along. As an unconventional student (already with a full career in graphic design, publishing, and marketing), I needed to allow each student to do their work and assist only when necessary. I would then gather their finalized portions, and package them for presentation and distribution. This includes a printed book (click pdf graphic below), graphical sticker sets (30 total), and digital assets given to the organization.
This project resulted from my relationship with the Real Impact Center, Inc. in Macon, Georgia. This is why the project did not include any website or many points for social network marketing - they were already being done through my internship.
Direct Responsibilities as Project Manager
Provide leadership and guidance to teams
Maintain notes and minutes of all project meetings, ensuring communications within the group is active and maintained
Act as liaison between Professor and teams while maintaining consultancy for the client as an intern
Overall graphic design, tone, and voice for playbook (InDesign) and presentation (PowerPoint)
