Newsletter

Took over the official newsletter for the Barony of Western Seas, giving it a fresh new magazine-style layout and presentation. 

• • Full-color production in InDesign, export to web-ready PDF

  • Distribution via the official website for the group

  • 3-column grid for general layout

  • 2-column grid for special interest pieces

  • Maintain consistency in design and format 

  • Repeat content checks for each publication (lists, events, etc.)

  • Blackfox Commendation Award for the best special edition in 2016

Upon leaving the group, redid the layout in Microsoft Word and GoogleDoc for ease in transferring to a new volunteer. The new design took on a more newsletter appearance while maintaining consistency but using more of a 2-column layout.
