About Me

Hello! My name is Lauren Jones, and I am a teacher candidate from Southern California. I graduated from Pacific Union College in March 2024 with a B.S. in Liberal Studies. Currently, I am in the process of applying for my California preliminary teaching credential at the elementary level. This portfolio is not only a means to attain the credential, but a collection of artifacts that showcase my abilities as a teacher.

I have been interested in teaching for as long as I can remember. I was blessed enough to grow up with amazing teachers at every grade level from K-6. I have always loved guiding students in their educational and social development; teaching is one of my greatest passions in life, and I'm excited to see where my career takes me.
