About Us

Our mission for this club is to build an encouraging community of Stoa Lincoln-Douglas debaters in Silicon Valley, where students can challenge and support one another, never surrendering in the pursuit of truth and excellence.

We chose 1 Corinthians 15:58 as our theme verse because debate demands steadfastness—both in preparation and in the round. It reminds us that standing firm in truth, laboring with integrity, and growing in character are never in vain, no matter the outcome of a ballot.
