The LECNY Poster Contest is open to students in grades 6-12 whose teachers are current members of LECNY. One (or more) winner(s) will be chosen from grades 6-8 and another winner will be chosen from grades 9-12. The winners will be presented with certificates and a $50 check at the LECNY May Celebration. The winning posters will be shared on the LECNY website and may be used on LECNY promotional materials throughout the year.
The theme for 2026 is Learning Languages: A Prescription for Healing Misunderstandings
Submissions should be sent to lecnyawards@gmail.com by April 6, 2026.

Requirements:
Each poster must be 100% original work.
The theme must appear somewhere on the poster
Any medium may be used; posters may be created by hand or on the computer.
This student information and release form must accompany your entry.
Posters will be judged on visual impact, creativity, connection to the theme, and neatness.
