Use this three-step tool to help you implement your Learning Continuity Plan.
Identify the learning outcomes for your classes.
Identify your planned teaching strategies (e.g. lecture, group discussions, case study, etc.). This information is typically included within the course outline or critical path.
Use the Learning Continuity Planner infographic to identify alternative activities that align with learning outcomes.
Prepare all required content and activities needed to continue your class remotely.
Ensure students have the required access to course content.
Ensure that you are meeting accessibility and accommodation needs for students.
Test the technology to make sure everything is working properly.
Send an announcement to students with the information they will need to participate remotely (see samples below).
Communicate with students continuously to ensure they are clear about instructions and that you can answer questions that arise.
