Action Steps 1-2-3!

Use this three-step tool to help you implement your Learning Continuity Plan.

  • Identify the learning outcomes for your classes.

  • Identify your planned teaching strategies (e.g. lecture, group discussions, case study, etc.). This information is typically included within the course outline or critical path.

  • Use the Learning Continuity Planner infographic to identify alternative activities that align with learning outcomes.

  • Prepare all required content and activities needed to continue your class remotely.

  • Ensure students have the required access to course content.

  • Ensure that you are meeting accessibility and accommodation needs for students.

  • Test the technology to make sure everything is working properly.

  • Send an announcement to students with the information they will need to participate remotely (see samples below).

  • Communicate with students continuously to ensure they are clear about instructions and that you can answer questions that arise.
