10:30 - 11.25AM: Investment Opportunities Breakout Session

  • Approach: Attendees are pre-assigned to heterogeneous groups (representing a mix of expertise) for Zoom breakout sessions in which the Nominal Group Technique and collaboration tools to identify the "top five" investment opportunities for a future "Phase 2" Learner Data Institute.

  • Driving Question: What portfolio of investment opportunities represent transformative avenues for a future "Phase 2" Learner Data Institute?

1:30 - 1:40PM: Introduction to Day #3 Afternoon Theme: "Mid-course Corrections" (Vasile Rus & Stephen Fancsali)

  • In what concrete ways can we improve our structure, processes, and communication methods to better achieve the LDI's mission?

1:40 - 2:00PM: "Mid-Course Corrections" Breakout Session

  • Participants meet in pre-assigned, heterogeneous groups (representing a mix of expertise) for Zoom breakout sessions in which the Nominal Group Technique is used to identify “top three” ways of improving LDI structures, processes, methods of communication, etc.

2:00 - 2:10PM: Break

2:10 - 2:30PM: "Mid-Course Corrections" Report Out to Full Group

  • Leaders of each breakout session report their "top three" suggestions to the group as a whole.

2:30 - 3:00PM: LDI Participant "Will Do's"

  • Individual participants briefly voice what they "will do" as a part of their participation in the LDI in the coming months.

3:00 - 3:15PM: Closing Remarks (Vasile Rus)
