The train is also known as a railroad car. It is a vehicle on a rail track that is not a locomotive. They are the one that provides another purpose than purely haulage, although some types of car are powered. It can be coupled together into a train, either hauled by a locomotive or self-powered.
Most cars carry a "revenue" load. "Revenue" cars are basically of two types: passenger cars, or coaches, and freight cars or wagons/trucks.
Non-revenue cars are usually used for maintenance-of-the rail tracks.
