Do you ever have too much monster loot laying around? Rotten Flesh, yeah you can trade it in for a few emeralds... Spider Eyes, well you could cure villagers, but you do not need to.
Monster Kebabs can be made with a stick, and 2 different "edible" monster drops, which are Rotten Flesh, Bones, Spider Eyes, and Slime Balls. Any combination of two of these will work, as long as they are not the same.
They are about as filling as a Steak, though they do come with a low chance of giving you a short Hunger effect. They can also be eaten faster than other foods, making them great for combat!
Magma Cream Candy is an expensive food item that adds a little extra spice to your attacks. Eating one will give you 3 "enhanced" attacks, which will stack up to 12.
An enhanced attack deals a couple extra hearts of damage, which can come in very handy when fighting heavier foes like Withers. And of course, it shakes up PvP quite a bit.
They are rather expensive, but when you can afford some, Magma Cream Candy is certainly worth the price.
The Commanding Rod is a handy tool that commands all nearby Wolves owned by you to sit or stand, all at once.
With the introduction of Wolf Armor, it seems a whole new combat style has emerged, being Wolf combat. It is a very entertaining way to play the game, if you can afford it. But getting your Wolves around can be tedious, commanding each and every one of them to stand or sit, until now.
Copper Shields are a weaker variant of the Iron Shield. When blocking, damage taken will be cut in half, making it only really effective against heavy hitters such as Creepers and Brutes.
Considering the increased price of Iron Shields, it is likely you will have to make a Copper Shield instead in the early game.
Banded Shields are tougher than Iron Shields, only letting a small amount of damage through. They are made from Armadillo Scutes, making them exceptionally hard to obtain compared to iron or copper variants.
Banded Shields are the best shield in Valiance, and with their cost it is recommended you enchant it with Unbreaking or Mending, or of course the new Guard Enchantment.
Ceramic Shields are nearly the same as Banded Shields, providing the same damage reduction with the one difference being that they can be customized using Pottery Sherds. All Pottery Sherds can be used, simply replacing the wooden plank in the recipe.
Ceramic Shields can also be found in Trial Chambers Vaults in place of the vanilla iron shields.
Summoning Horns are a tool used to alert the Vigilante that you are in need of discussion. Playing one will summon him to your area if the conditions are met, signaled by him responding with a confident battle tune of his own. If conditions are not met, a slower melody will be played in response.
Summoning Horns can be obtained from Pillager Outpost chests, in which one is guaranteed, as well as drops from Jeepers when killed by an explosion. The melodies 'Murder', 'Havoc', 'Century', and 'Edge' can all be obtained from these methods. The Vigilante is not one to give away his personal favorites that he plays himself. So if he will not give them, maybe you can... take them?
How peculiar... The Totem of Irregularity seems to share its origins with the elusive Totem of Undying.
It can be sometimes dropped by Brutes, and each one is unique. When held in the off hand, the Totem of Irregularity will provide a minor buff or debuff in max health, armor, attack damage, or movement speed.
The Totem's eyes will randomly be chosen from one of six colors.
Some of these totems are better than others, and you will have to seek out the perfect one for your play style.
The Lesser Totem of Undying is a smaller and less stable variant of the Totem of Undying. It is dropped from Evokers in Raids, instead of the usual variant, which is now exclusive to the Woodland Mansion.
There is not much to say about it, aside from the fact that it does not provide buffs when activated.
Enchanted Horse Flutes are a powerful relic using the power of Enchantment to store whole live horses within its form. While riding atop a horse, play the flute to store your steed inside, and play it again while not mounted to summon it again.
This allows for much more convenient travel with horses, making things such as rivers, oceans, and detours much less stressful.
Since this makes horses immensely powerful, it is not very easy to obtain. You will need to emerge victorious from a dangerous encounter with a new foe that will only rear its ugly head when the fabled Challenger Idol is active...
