Vigilant is a weapon treasure Enchantment invented by the Vigilante himself. It deals extra damage to Illagers, identical to Smite and Bane of Arthropods, filling a different niche, even having the same max level of 5.
Vigilant can be obtained from all the same sources as Smite and Bane of Arthropods.
Butcher is a weapon treasure Enchantment in the same vein as the previous Enchantment, Vigilant. It deals extra damage to livestock mobs, but is mainly made to counter Piglins and Hoglins, with the same amount of damage as Smite, Bane of Arthropods, and Vigilant, of course with the max level of 5.
Vigilant can be obtained from all the same sources as Smite and Bane of Arthropods.
Guard is a treasure Enchantment applicable to shields, being the only shield-exclusive enchantment. It can also be applied to Gauntlets, as they have the same defensive nature. It has a max level of 3.
When holding an item with the Guard Enchantment in either hand, damage taken will be reduced by a small amount per level, similar to the Protection enchantment. While this may sound a little too powerful, considering the changes made to Protection it may be necessary when facing deadlier foes.
Guard books can only be obtained by trading 3 Rubies with the Vigilante, after the Bedazzle bounty is complete, requiring 12 Rubies total to get to level 3.
Valiance introduces a total of 3 new Curses which can be applied to armor, which are found on Tainted Armor as well as in other places that may have Curses in vanilla.
The Curse of Burdening slightly reduces the movement speed of the wearer, stacking with each piece worn.
The Curse of Infestation gives a small chance of spawning Silverfish when the wearer takes damage, similar to the Infested effect.
Lastly, the Curse of Deterioration greatly increases the rate at which durability lowers. Admittedly, it can be applied to non-armor items, but it is most easily found on armor through Tainted Armor
Dispel is a treasure Enchantment applicable to crossbows. It has a max level of 1.
When shooting a monster with a crossbow enchanted with Dispel, all effects that are helpful to the target will be removed. This may be nice if you are planning on going up against a lot of mobs with effects, such as an Ominous Trial.
Dispel books can only be obtained by trading 8 Rubies with the Vigilante, after the Witch bounty is complete.
