Gil Cymbalist Service

Dear Community,

It is my sad duty to inform you all that our dear friend and long time LDor VDor participant, Gil Cymbalist, passed away on Monday, September 8. We were told that his passing was very peaceful, and he was surrounded by family. 

The graveside service will take place this Friday, September 12, at Greenwood Cemetery (on 4th Line, Sault Ste. Marie, ON), starting at 11:00 am. 

Once you park and exit your vehicle, please wait on the driveway, as we will walk together to the grave site.

You will be directed accordingly upon arrival. 

In the afternoon there will be a celebration of life gathering at the Chippewa County Historical Society (115 Ashmun St., SSMa, MICHIGAN), from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. 

Shiva will be observed that same evening, starting at 7:00 pm, at the home of Adele Shulman (41 Village Ct., SSMa, ONTARIO).

I know I speak for all of us when I express what a special part of our community Gil has been. He will be fondly remembered, and deeply missed.
