WHY WE WANT YOU TO VOLUNTEER IN OUR ORGANIZATION?
We are looking for volunteers who will be willing to help our teachers to learn new methods of teaching and development.
We are looking EXPERTS IN Search Engine Optimization (SEO)& SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETER(SEM), and WEBSITE DEVELOPING
Looking for anyone who has ideas or experts to improve the development of our new webpages, redesign web pages, help in graphics, photography, videography and other school profile designing.
Helping with social media marketing, SEO & SEM ranking and increase awareness in searching engines visibility and unlock the full marketing potential of our site or profile site.
When volunteers visit, they are welcome to teach and support either kindergarten : the one in the morning, the one in the afternoon, or both. The classes are short, only several hours long (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon but you can often do more if you want). We have a whiteboard, and the kids like to practice the alphabet, counting, learn the names of body parts, plants, animals, greetings in English. They love to play soccer outdoors on their break too.

NB: Many vulnerable children cannot afford school uniforms, books, school meals or even transportation and are forced to end their education careers.
Since we are a non profit organisation, we are in need of volunteers who can organise fundraising opportunities both locally and internationally so that we can facilitate the necessary projects to help the development of the community in general
We need to have as many projects as we can so we are asking the volunteers who have experience in the
planning of projects and report writing for the established project
Volunteer at Little Dream Academy
Here you have an opportunity to do the following;
Teach children between the age of 2 to the age of 5
Exchange ideas with local teachers, during the teachers meetings, on how to improve teaching.
Play with the children and teach them sports and games.
Help with the office management of the Centre.
Help the centre with their social media updating.
Help with serving food to the children.
Home visits to potential sponsored children's homes.
Fundraising program for purpose of improving services provided at Little Dream Academy.
Work on the youth program
This is another area where our potential volunteers can engage in. We expect the volunteer to provide life-skills education to the youth in our targeted areas. The subjects that are in demand are;
Time management
Communication skills
Handling emotions
Problem solving
Reproductive health
Sexual Relationships
Sports and games
Personal hygiene
HIV/AIDS education
Environmental conservation education
Basic Business skills
Work on the women's program
In this program, our potential volunteers are expected to accomplish the following;
Help us with Fundrasing
Link us with potential donor organisations and help us meet the requirements
Teach women basic business skills during their regular meetings at our Community Cenre
Attend staff meetings so that to share ideas with the rest of the team on general issues
Train women on general subjects like women's rights, health issues and general life-skills
HOW TO START
For those who are interested and willing to volunteer with us, they can just go to our contacts us page and write us an email telling us what they are interested in. We will give them all the necessary information for the me to start this incredible journey of volunteering with us.
Volunteers who join us will have chances to participate in various local events organised with our organisation.
Volunteers can receive free Swahili (our native language) lessons at the school. Also you will be in daily contact with your native colleagues, so you would be able to learn the Tanzanian life from them.
You will acquire cultural styles of living in our local community.
It is possible to learn different cultural behavior including cooking, dressing e.t.c in our area of Arusha. You can also take Swahili classes.
Apart from the Swahili language, volunteers will have time to visit and meet the Masai tribe to learn about their culture and to visit national parks.
We are happy to arrange your trips to the different safaris in Tanzania if you like to go to safaris

We do have an agreement with an International House near the school (10 to 15 min by walk). You can have a private room (double-bed, mosquito net and "bucket" shower) with breakfast included. You have access to a kitchen if you want to cook. Most volunteers prefer to be there to share their time with international visitors and other volunteers. You'll also have a free meal at school (the typical Tanzanian food that we give to the children, which is often: rice, beans and vegetables).
We kindly ask all volunteers/interns to contribute a small amount of (USD 10) per day, this cash will support the host to provide you with the meals during your stay, it will be paid directly to the host family or the person in charge of purchasing food for a charity/NGO. It will use only for the purposes of food and not as a donation towards the project or charity
WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL OPEN DOORS FOR FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
- Help us organise funding campaigns through GoFundMe Platform and other digital platforms to support our sustainable school building projects for vulnerable children, orphans and low income families in Arusha.
NB: You can fundraise to build an extension of a new classroom, school library, computer lab.
