LITTLE DREAM RAFIKI FUND is the sponsorship program that allows Community Restoration Organization to support vulnerable children, as well our teachers. "RAFIKI" is the Swahili word that meaning Friend and has been chosen as the essence of the program, helping to find a friend for a teacher or a child living in poverty and providing them with access to the most needed luxuries in the developing world, an education. Sponsorship facilitates the education of these students that are so eager to learn. Sponsors help facilitate the education of local underprivileged children. As the first step to overcoming poverty, education gives these children the skills, knowledge, and opportunity to create change and achieve economic development for their communities and country.

LITTLE DREAM RAFIKI FUND is how we support our scholar's education,there two sponsorship options within LITTLE DREAM RAFIKI FUND

CATEGORIES :

1.STUDENT SPONSORSHIP

Below we have provided a list of where your contributions can reach.

= Student Tuition $25 per month=per year $300

= Student per student meals $15 per month = $180 per year

=2 Uniforms and shoes for the year $80

=School supplies- $50

=Medical insurance - $45 per year

2. TEACHER & CHEF SPONSORSHIP

To follow our mission as best as we can, we rely on great teachers.

The amount for a teacher sponsorship differs due to their qualification and position:

Up to $150/month for a lower class teacher with certificate
Up to $250/month for an upper class teacher with an advanced degree.

The sponsorship is managed on a communal basis in order to ensure that resources are allocated as they are needed and no teacher or chef is left behind.

Help us to educate our children. Our goal is to sponsor vulnerable children to get access of quality education in our Little Dream Academy programs. We encourage you to sponsor one or more scholar' tuition for the school year for just $25USD per month .When you sponsor a student, your donation goes to purchase exercise books, pencils, as well as snacks and lunches also your donation goes toward chef and teachers salaries. The fund is managed on a communal basis in order to ensure that resources are allocated as they are needed and no child is left behind.

With your generous donation you will receive:

An email confirming your sponsorship
A picture of your sponsored child.
A biannual email from Community Restoration and the child.

WHY WE DEVOTE OUR TIME TO SUPPORT CHILDREN?

Many students come from small, one room, or unfinished homes, and have families that struggle to support them. They might not get adequate food, clothing, and health care.

Other children who attend Little Dream are from typical family environments within the area, mostly reliant on farming income to support an average family size of 5 or 6.

How to get involved

Buying food for the children
Donate Teaching material and playing facilities: Our daycare program includes teaching of the child. The child gets to learn basic social and intellectual skills during their stay at the centre. Our children’s learning processes have improved so much, because of the support we get from different people, especially volunteers. We continuously need to improve our children’s learning environment so that learning becomes easier. We need more playing facilities, teaching material and capacity building of our teachers. Well wishers can help us with this.
Volunteer with us: another way you can support us, is choosing us as your volunteering destination. Coming to volunteer with us, either directly or coming through our partner organizations, it doesn’t really matter, is another great way of supporting us. Volunteers have always been the backbone of our organization’s progress. We expect our volunteers to have fundraised a bit before they come. This is for both their stay and for their projects. For those interested, and would like to come to us directly, we can talk about their volunteering before they come. But for those coming through our partner organizations, everything is organized other there
