Cadet Recognition

During their 3 years in LDC, cadets will be able to earn, crest, ribbons, arcs and pins that they can wear on their uniforms as a recognition of what they have accomplished.

Crest- each year cadets need to earn their LDC crest. This is a recognition that the cadet has meet the minimal requirements for that year of service. Each year had a different color:

- 1st year is white

- 2nd year is silver

- 3rd year is gold

Ribbons- there are 30 ribbons in total that cadets can earn.

Some are earned at the end of the year such as Distinguished Cadet, others are earned by participating in Teams and Parades or completing volunteering hours.

Arcs- are given each year based on the different team cadets are part of. Arcs are also earned. Cadets that have participated in the summer leadership training camp will receive the Leadership arc that they keep each following year. Some of the arcs below will not be given to cadets, because they do not apply to the LDC program.
