Reflection: What will student agency look like in your class one year from now?

Student agency will be more of a focus in my classroom a year from now. I will incorporate Design Thinking on a regular basis to foster an excitement and an atmosphere that encourages the students and expand their horizons. The students in my class thrive on creating and collaborating, and are eager to share what they know and learn. My classroom a year from now will have taken student agency to an even higher level. A thought that resonates with me was when during the Hangout when Jesse Lubinsky made the point about “students having ownership vs feeling like visitors.”
