SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget for individuals so they can purchase heathy foods.
A single student in the state of Alabama may receive monthly SNAP benefits of between $23 and $281. If the student applies and qualifies, he/she will receive an Electronic Balance Transfer card that is loaded with benefits every month.
