Don't waste your time writing everything you see in lecture.
Download the lecture outlines and take notes in the margins while watching lecture videos. Anatomy is not a class for re-writing notes.
Spend time adding information to lab handouts.
We will spend a lot of time studying the locations of structures, but you can deepen your understanding by adding functional information as well.
Bring all of our resources with you to our lab meetings.
This includes things like books, notes, and writing utensils. If you can afford it, try using a notebook without lines that you can use to draw structures. Colored writing utensils help with recall when studying as well!
Study with others in the class.
Take it from a certified "loner" - you cannot do this alone. Working with others allows us to think of new ways to explain what we know, or deepen what we think we know.
It all starting with saying "hi"!
Avoid "Googling" answers or using diagrams on the internet. Most of these are ambiguous and can confuse you more than help you.
Stick with the resources in your required textbook (or free alternative), lab handouts, and lecture outlines. I'm only looking out for you, trust me!
