You are responsible for watching all of the assigned videos in each module as part of your participation. Canvas logs your hours and you need about 3 hours a week.
You will have either a discussion, homework assignment, or survey due each week as part of your online participation. Missing more than two may lead to you being dropped from the class.
Practice quizzes are ungraded quizzes that allow you to review the material before an exam. Although they don't earn you points, they will help you to be more prepared!
We will dedicate each day in lab to studying the material on the next exam.
Lab handouts will act as notes and will be posted on Canvas. You can either bring a physical copy (printed) or digital copy that can be edited on an electronic device.
These are quizzes are given at the end of the day, during last 30 minutes of lab. The questions on this quiz will test your knowledge of the information in the lab, specifically.
Note: Lecture topics and lab topics are interrelated! The more you prepare outside of the class, the better you will do during the lab.
We will hold review sessions before each exam (on the day of the exam). The time in each review session may vary, so be sure to be on time to class!
You can earn a total of 910 points during the semester.
Letter grades will be awarded according to your overall percentage:
A: 89.5% -100%
B: 79.5% - 89%
C: 69.5% - 79%
D: 59.5% - 69%
F: Less than 59%
