"Human Anatomy" by Frederic H. Martini, Judi Nath, and Robert B. Tallitsch is a required book for the class and is available in the LAVC bookstore.
However, some people can get by with different anatomy books, previous editions, or even free and online texts.
The required book has a lot of useful resources and is a great study tool. You make the choice that is right for you!
Life happens, and sometimes we can't meet our obligations. LAVC's Attendance Policy requires that you attend all in-person lab meetings. However, you are allowed to have one unexcused absence during the semester.
If you are ill or something important happens to where you cannot attend, please reach out to me. We will work on how you can makeup your missed labs!
You can find my contact information by choosing "Contact Me" from the navigation.
I do not provide my lectures slides to students because I feel that it hinders their ability to study effectively. Instead, I provide other materials that can be used to create your own, unique approach to studying the subject.
Use the lecture outlines and lab handouts to study alongside my lectures and create your study materials.
See "Study Like Prof. Mey" for more tips on how to study Anatomy!
If you are a student in need of accommodation, I am more than willing to help you out! Please contact Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to learn about how to request accommodation.
You can read more about SSD and other student services by choosing "Student Resources" from the navigation.
